THE SPICE OF LIFE is a story that begins with a Black British Caribbean young couple who came to London, England in the late 1950s and early 1960s when called by the British Government after the Second World War to serve their country, the motherland. The Windrush Generation came from their life in the Beautiful, Sunny, Caribbean Island of Grenada (The Isle of Spice) to a different climate, culture, and situation in London, England. The families’ internal and external struggles just to have a home they could call their own and bring up a family.
