I enjoy historical fiction woven through relatable characters. This debut novel gave me both. I’m always amazed at what I learn and this novel delivered. Newark represents the early immigrants that built this country and their belief and strength in family. This novel kept me engaged from beginning to end. Looking forward to future R.J.Kinch novels!
I’m from Jersey so the title caught my eye. It’s a historical piece but I didn’t expect to get so invested in the characters. I had a hard time putting it down! I recommend
