Myles is a young man who, after having a flight in a Cessna aircraft, is enamoured with flying and desires to make it his career, that is, to become an airline pilot.
He is limited by his religious background and the refusal by his devout father to allow him to attend university.
Through determination, patience and the courage to leave the sect he launches out into an unfamiliar world, makes unwise decisions, suffers and learns from them, adjusts his thinking and beliefs, then fortuitously finds a way to achieve his dreams, through a quite different route from what he expected, the Air Force.
This is a thought-provoking and very informative narrative about how this admirable young man’s dreams play out .
