• How much can you expect a fastball to rise?
• How do you pitch to a hitter when you have no stats?
• How do you select players for positions in the outfield?
• What are the knockout tests for scouts when considering baseball players for college or professional baseball?
• What are a player’s chances of getting a college scholarship?
• As a parent what do I need to know about my baseball player’s development needs?
• How can you tell if your shortstop is charging the ball correctly?
There are over 500 questions like those above that are discussed, an answer provided and the reason for the answer. The questions aren’t stated as questions but in discussing a topic like infielding we discuss how to determine the cause of certain errors.
A baseball fan will better understand what is going on in the game by have an improved Baseball IQ. They will know why the pitcher is throwing sliders to hitter or why the hitter is up in the box, etc.
The book will improve players if they learn the lessons taught in this book.
